In the relatively short span of its existence, 29 years to be precise, in the field of education, Rockvale Academy has always felt that it was morally obligated to the people of Kalimpong in particular and the society at large, to provide value added services. Especially to the student community in the hills. Two giant steps had already been taken in this regard, when, in 2003, the B.B. Pradhan management college was established, affiliated to the Sikkim Manipal University and in 2012, the Rockvale College of Management got affiliated to the West Bengal University Technology, the WBUT, the only technical university in West Bengal. These two endeavors went a long way in instilling the need for quality higher education in the hills, but, there was room for doing something more.

Today, there is no dearth of opportunities for the students to pursue the stream of their choice, the subject (s)  they grain discarding the chaff. With new higher education institutes mushrooming almost every day, the students are lost in a labyrinth of choice, unable to decide for sure, which institution and course would be best for them and would meet his or her desire and aspiration. Moreover, even if a student is able to zero in an institute or course of his choice he may not exactly know the procedure involved to get admission there. Sometimes the students may not have the information af the time period when such admission take place.

For the purpose of providing guidance and opportunities to the students for a number of required and established institutes in India as well as overseas such as Philippines, Australia and NewZealand. A list of the tie ups and our official associates has been provided at the end of this article. The RCS has therefore started its job in the light earnest, providing the much needed guidance and assistance to students, willing to carry on with their higher education. The RCS with all its resources and tie ups, will continue to provide and act as the torch-bearer to those students aspiration and meticulously helping them in assuaging their confusion and curiosity in the confusing maze of the world of higher education so that the students have no regrets in the future regarding the stream and the institution they ultimately had opted for.
